Edit with AI

You can describe a change in plain words instead of making it by hand. There are four places to do it: the Agent panel for the whole video, Edit with AI… for one chapter, the sparkle button for one element, and the right-click AI box.

The Assistant (whole video)

Click Agent in the editor (tooltip "Ask the agent to generate or edit this video"). A panel titled Assistant opens with a box that reads "Ask me to edit, create, or style anything...".

What happens depends on what you ask:

• Name a chapter or an element ("make the title in chapter 2 shorter") and the Assistant edits it.
• Ask for a new chapter and it adds one. You will see a note like "✚ New chapter added at position N".
• Type a brand-new topic and it asks Replace this video? Choose Keep current video to cancel, or Generate new video to replace it.

To show it what you mean, use Attach reference image (PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF, up to 5 MB). Clear conversation starts the chat over.

Edit one chapter

1. Open the Scenes panel and right-click the scene.
2. Choose Edit with AI…. A box titled Edit Chapter N with AI opens.
3. Describe the change, for example "make the queue box green", "this beat drags, speed it up" or "rewrite this to focus on latency".
4. Click Apply.

A scene can also show a ✦ Describe a change… button. It opens the Assistant panel.

Edit one element

Select an element on the canvas and click the sparkle button next to it. The panel's heading matches what you selected: Edit this drawing, Edit this image, Edit this text or Edit this element. Type your own instruction, or pick a quick option:

The right-click AI box

Right-click an element to find Edit with AI… (Enter to apply). Type an instruction and press Enter, or use one of the shortcuts: Rewrite the text, Make it concise, Emphasize it or Change the color.
