Getting started

The Projects page

Find, open, organize, duplicate and delete your videos on the Projects page, and learn how Trash and project limits work.

Last updated

The Projects page is where all your videos live. You can search, sort and filter them, open one to watch or edit it, and use each card's … menu to duplicate, share, move or delete it.

Finding a project

  • Search projects... searches your projects in the current folder.
  • The All and Favorites tabs switch between everything and the projects you starred.
  • The Public and Private chips filter by whether a project is public (anyone with the link can watch it) or private.
  • The sort menu offers Recently edited, Newest first, Oldest first, Name A-Z and Name Z-A.
  • A toggle switches between grid and list view.

Opening a project

Click a card to open a preview player, with Edit, Share and Download buttons. The pencil icon on the card goes straight to the editor, and Add to favorites or Remove from favorites changes whether it is a favorite.

To rename a project, open it in the editor and click its title.

The card menu

The … menu on each card has:

While a video is still building, these items are disabled with the note "Available when the video finishes generating".

Duplicating a project

Choose Duplicate from the card menu. You see "Duplicating...", then "Project duplicated". The copy counts toward your project limit. You can only duplicate a whole project from this page. Inside the editor you can duplicate scenes and elements, but not the project.

Folders

Folders are in the sidebar under Folders.

  1. Click + next to Folders, enter a Folder name, and confirm. Folders can sit inside other folders.
  2. Drag a card onto a folder, or choose Move to folder from the card menu and pick a folder. Pick All Diagrams (no folder) to take it out of every folder.
  3. Right-click a folder to Rename or Delete it. Deleting a folder does not delete the projects in it. They become unfiled.

Deleting and Trash

Choosing Delete moves the project to Trash. The confirmation dialog says the action cannot be undone, but the project actually stays in Trash, where you can restore it.

On the Trash page:

  • Items are deleted automatically after 30 days. Each card shows how many days are left.
  • Restore brings a project back to your projects.
  • The delete-forever icon removes one project permanently.
  • Empty Trash removes everything in Trash permanently.

Deleting a video does not refund the credits used to build it.

Shared with me

Projects other people have shared with you are on the Shared with me page. Each one shows who shared it and whether you Can edit or Can view.

Project limits

Each plan has a maximum number of projects:

PlanProjects
Free3
Plus5
Pro20

Duplicates and re-voiced copies count toward the limit. Imported projects do not. When you reach the limit, you see a message telling you to delete a project to free a slot or upgrade. See the pricing page for plan details.
